Today,Migori County Secretary Dr. Oscar Olima presided over the training of Migori County ict staff on Cyber Security and Digital Transformation.In an effort to address the Digital transformation,the Secretary emphasized on the need of Gig Economy,fully automation of the County revenue and People Analytics for better data driven decision-making.
On data Security,he emphasized on robust data security management and strategy process that will enable Migori County to protect its information against cyberattacks , minimize the risk of human error and insider threats, which continue to be the cause of many data breaches.
The ongoing ICT training will therefore enhance the realisation of H.E Migori County Governor Dr Ochilo Ayacko agenda and pledges on improving Migori County Government employees communication, automates many county operations, and enhances the transparency of the County projects through ICT.
The training was also graced by ICT chief officer Nelson Wasonga, Migori County Human Resource Director Carolyn Roche among other stakeholders
